The Mountain Firework Company
If you’ve noticed in my previous posts a weakness for wonderful man bands (like Winnipeg’s The Crooked Brothers and Victoria’s The Tequila Mockingbird Orchestra) it should come as no surprise that my favorite band in the entire United Kingdom is Brighton’s The Mountain Firework Company.
Since first hearing their record Samurai last year I’ve been scheming the many ways I could bring them to Canada so I could see them live … but on the eve of heading home from the UK last week I was finally able to see them perform (at what would probably be my favorite pub if I lived in Brighton - The Greys).
