Jodie Ponto is a young Canadian photographer who is digging her fingers in deep to the grass roots of the independent music scene. With a knack for capturing the raw, intense, and fleeting moments on stage, she specializes in live music photography and has developed an extensive photoblog documenting shows, festivals, tours, and the on and off stage antics of musicians across Canada and beyond.

When not overdosing on music she can be found traipsing about various reaches of the globe with her camera in tow. At only 25 years old she has survived visiting one of the world's so-called axis' of evil (North Korea), drinking a poison turpentine cocktail in Italy, and a bush plane crash in the Yukon wilds.
